| The marina at Scrub Island is the first new facility to be built in BVI in over 20 years. Located in the pass between Scrub Island and Great Camanoe, the marina is protected from winds and weather on three(3) of four(4) sides. Our marine engineering partner, ATM (www.appliedtm.com) has commented that this may be the most perfect site for any marina in the Carribbean.
We expect to have 55-65 slips ranging in size from 35ft to 150ft. Our property owners will first be offered slips, then the balance (if any) for the general public.This will be a full service facility offering fuel, food supplies and ice. Mainsail is currently working with the BVI customs offices and is negotiating to include a new customs office in the marina....making it convenient and simple to clear customs upon entry to BVI. Mainsail Scrub Marina will become the NEW location for all sport fisherman. The facility will be the closest marina to the famous NORTH DROP, home of the world's best Marlin and game fishing. |
